Here is my explanation.
What Makes A Healthy Ecosystem?
An ecosystem is made up of organic and in-organic matter (living and non-living things), a healthy ecosystem needs producers, decomposers and consumers. If an ecosystem gets tampered with it will break and there will be a consequence.
A Producer is a plant, a Producer gets the energy from the sunlight, and when the consumer eats them they get the energy. Producers make their own food by air water and sunlight, that cycle is called photosynthesis.
A Consumer eats the producers which is plants like kelp, trees and sometimes they eat other consumers to survive. A consumer's role in the ecosystem is to eat producers so they don’t get out of control.
A Decomposer is a scavengers that break down dead plants and animals. Decomposers are also bacteria.
An ecosystem is really fragile, so if one ecosystem is unbalanced like we take all the food there will be a consequence. If we eat all the kina the crayfish will die, then the carpet sharks will die, then other sharks will die, and there will be too much kelp in the ocean. So thats what will happen if an ecosystem becomes unbalanced.
