Movie night

In Te Ngahere we a couple of student’s got picked to direct in a mini movie for movie night at Paihia School. It was originally for the fair go ad competition but we didn’t have time to make it so we picked our next target the movie night. So our job is too sell tourism to waitangi. I enjoyed doing it because I got to be the cameraman and get out of school. It was awesome!. The thing I could do better was keep the camera still. Once we show the movie at movie night I will add it here.

Duffy Assembly

In Paihia School we had a Duffy assembly and a girl named Tamara dressed up as a character named Zinkie
from a Duffy book.
We had to sing a Duffy song to celebrate that we are getting new free books.
I got Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy Part 2 the Revenge of the
Ridiculous Robo-Boogers.
The second book was the Everything Machine. I love reading Captain Underpants.
The thing I did well was pick out the books I wanted.

Here are some photos.

Smooothies

In Te Ngahere Whaea Gina came to Paihia School for an energize session.
She showed us how to make healthy smoothies.
Whaea Becks picked 5 people to help Whaea Gina.
There was a milkman, banana girl, yogurt girl, berry girl and a mixer man.
The smoothie tasted like a milky banana.
It was delicious and healthy. I hope I could do that again some time.
The thing I could have done better was drink it slower to savour the taste.

Here are some photos.

Takeaways.

In Te Ngahere we have been learning what takeaways are good for us and what takeaways are bad.
The healthiest and the most expensive was Subway.
The second healthiest was sushi, but the really bad takeaway was Carl's JR.
It had about 20 teaspoons of fat in a burger and handful of a  large fries and a large drink.
I will use this information in the future so I can make healthier choices.
The thing I should do better is I should have made better choices before and ate healthier.

Here are some photos.

Beeswax Wraps.

In Te Ngahere we have been making beeswax wraps.
We had to draw a design on a piece of fabric.
My one had my favourite movie, games and all my friends names on it.
In the middle it had my name in big letters and my nickname underneath.
The thing I think I did well is my design.
The reason we made beeswax wraps is so we don't have to use plastic in our lunches.
The thing I could do better was not use vivid because it leaked onto my fabric.

School Disco.

At Paihia School last night we had a school disco
. The juniors one was at 5:30 to 6:30 and the seniors was 6:45 to 7:45.
Just before the disco I got hair cut and dressed up all nice.
Me and my friend Dayton started break dancing.
He won a trophy for it I agreed he was a much better dancer than me.
I bought 2 glow sticks the fat ones and a glowing eyeball ring.
All these people felt sick so I got about 12 bags of lollies for free.

Dress Up Day.

On the eighth of August Paihia School had a dress up day.
Where we had to dress up as something and bring a gold coin donation for Kids Can.
They help us  feed the kids in our school and supply us with jackets.
I dressed up as Predictor X, but it was my version, because I wore my clothes. It was so fun, I loved it.
